Koryo Taekwondo Academy has done it once again! We have been awarded the Active Club or Organisation of 2019 from Active Westminster Awards.
This award recognises community clubs or sport groups which encourage more people to take part in physical activity, leisure and sport or to develop their skills. It was hosted in Porchester Hall on Friday the 22nd of November 2019 and given to us by Sky News presenter David Garrido and the Lord Mayor of Westminster Ruth Bush.
We are very thankful to all the students and parents for the hard work and support, only as a Taekwondo family we have achieved such success.
We are based at Seymour Leisure Centre in London, our Academy has nearly 100 participants every week, ranging from ages five to 60. We welcome members of all abilities and cultural backgrounds. In addition to Taekwondo, our students learn discipline, respect and sportsmanship.
